Biography

Jacob was born in 1850 in Washington county, Indiana. He was the son of Barnett Chastain and Cynthia Stark.

He was living with his parents in Vernon, Washington, Indiana in 1870.[1]

He married Elizabeth Olive Hardin on 28 Mar 1875 in Washington county, Indiana.[2] They had a large family.

They were in Vernon, Washington, Indiana in 1900, 1910, and 1920.[3][4][5] He was living with daughter Nellie in Vernon in 1930.[6]

He passed away in 1930. He was buried in Campbellsburg cemetery in Washington county, Indiana.[7]
