Biography
Marion Chastain was enumerated as son of the head of household in Militia Districts 1018, 1241, Upper Youngcane, Copper Creek, Union County, Georgia for the June 6, United States Census, 1900. He was noted as born December 1885 in Tennessee and single. He was a farm laborer as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Paley Chastain, wife Hanah C Chastain, daughter Laura Chastain, daughter Fannie Chastain, daughter Dora Chastain, son Morta Chastain, daughter Cecle Chastain and father Ren L Chastain.[1]
