Marie-Mary (Chastain) Sallee was a daughter of a Huguenot emigrant (1540-1790).
Marie Magdelaine Chastain was born in 1720 in Goochland, Virginia to Anne Soblet, age 45, and Pierre Chastain, age 61.
She married William Guillume Salle in 1740 in her hometown. They had eight children during their marriage. She died about 1803, in Buckingham, Virginia, having lived a long life of 83 years.
