He was noted as born 1894 in Virginia and married. He was first married at the age of twenty-three. He was a renter and a minister (gospel) as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Sue M Chastain, daughter Margaret Chastain and son Jimmie J Chastain.[2]

On April 1, 1935, Judson Chastain lived at College Street, Lexington, Beat 1, Holmes County, Mississippi.[3]

Judson Chastain was enumerated as head of the household at College Street, Lexington, Beat 1, Holmes County, Mississippi for the April 3, United States Census, 1940. He was noted as born 1894 in Virginia and married. He rented a home and was a pastor (Baptist church) as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Mary Chastain, daughter Peggy Chastain, son Jimmy Chastain, father James Chastain, stepson Frederick White and stepson Arthur White.[3]

Francis Judson Chastain is buried at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington, Holmes County, Mississippi, USA, Plot: Section 9.[4]
