Thomas Abonn Chastain was enumerated as son at Holland, Saline County, Arkansas for the June 15, United States Census, 1880. He was noted as born 1874 in Arkansas and single as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are self Virgil Chastain, wife Bitha T Chastain, son Andrew J Chastain, son Charles S Chastain, daughter Mandy C Chastain and son James H Chastain.^[1]
