Biography

Lassie Chastine was enumerated as daughter of the head of household at 1920 Johnson, Little Rock Ward 8, Pulaski County, Arkansas for the January 8, United States Census, 1920. She was noted as born 1914 in Arkansas and single as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Jesse Chastine, wife Katie Chastine, son Lenord Chastine and son Jesse Chastine.^[1]

Locie Chastain was enumerated as daughter of the head of household at Jackman Street, Benton, Saline County, Arkansas for the April 9, United States Census, 1930. She was noted as born 1914 in Arkansas and single as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Kattie Chastain, son Leonard Chastain, son J W Chastain, daughter Lenora Chastain, daughter Luella Chastain, son Jessie Chastain, son William C Chastain and hired man Orval James.^[2]
