Biography
Ollie E Chastain was enumerated as daughter of the head of household at Brasstown, Cherokee County, North Carolina for the April 18, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1898 in North Carolina and single. She was a farm laborer (home farm) as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head John L Chastain, wife Nancy J Chastain, son Hushel L Chastain, son David L Chastain, daughter Lillie M Chastain, son George F Chastain and daughter Mertile A Chastain.[1]
Ollie Elizabeth Chastain Martin is buried at New Martins Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Murphy, Cherokee County, North Carolina.[2]
