Biography
Helen was born in 1933. She was the daughter of Ernest Chastain and Pauine Dillard[1] She married at the age of 16, on 29 August 1949, in Sebastian County, Arkansas.
Helen passed away 21 Oct 2014 in Fort Smith, Arkansas and is interred at Woodlawn Memorial Park.[2]
Obituary
Helen Marie Vincent, 81, of Roland passed away Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014, in a Fort Smith hospital. Helen was born Jan. 29, 1933, in Greenwood. She was a homemaker and a member of Muldrow First Assembly of God.
Helen is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Elmer L. Vincent of the home; a son, Steve Vincent and wife Brenda of Roland; two daughters, Carolyn Grizzle and husband Ron of Oxnard, Calif., and Cathy Cantrell and husband Mike of Roland; two brothers, Paul Chastain of Fort Smith and Jim Chastain of Van Buren; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Linda, and four brothers.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Viewing will be 1-8 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6-8 pm.[2]
