Biography

Joseph Chavigny de La Chevrotière was born 06 March 1751 in Saint-Joseph-de-Deschambault, Québec, Canada, Nouvelle-France. [1] He was the son of François (Chavigny de la Chevrotiere) Chavigny (abt.1705-1754) and Marie Françoise (Trottier dit Labisonniere) Trottier dit Labissonniere (1708-1759). [2].

Marriage

Joseph married Marie Flavie Rivard on March 2, 1778 at Saint-Charles-des-Grondines. [3]Together, they had the following (known) children [4]:
