Biography
Richard Cheever, a cordwainer, had immigrated to New England before his military service in King Philip's War, with entries dated 24 Jun 1676 and 24 Aug 1676, [1] which was before his 07 Oct 1680 marriage at Boston [2] to Abigail Mylam, daughter of Humphrey Mylam and Mary Gore of Boston. [3]
Richard and Abigail had 4 sons and 7 daughters born 1681-1702 in Boston.[4]
Abigail (Mylam) Cheever died a widow in Boston on 21 Jan 1732/3; the administration of the estate of her late husband Richard Cheever having been granted to her on 08 Aug 1709. [5]
