Biography

Thomas Cherry Jnr. was born on 20 July 1738 in Frederick County, Virginia, British Colonial America. He was the son of Thomas Cherry Snr, and his wife Rachel Emlen.

He died on 1 October 1780 in Cherry Valley, Washington County, Pennsylvania, United States. He was killed by Native Americans.

Marriage

Thomas Cherry Jnr. was married to Mary Perrin (1739–1778) in 1756 in Fairfield, Henrico, Virginia, British Colonial America.

  • 1. John Cherry. b. 1751 – d. 1781. He was killed by Native Americans, aged 30 years.
  • 2. Thomas Perrin Cherry. b. 1757 – d. 1829.

  • 4. Moses Ralph Cherry. b. 1769 – d. 1815.
  • 5. Edward Cherry. b. 1776 – d. 1854.
