William was born about 1791. He is named as the father of Moses Cherry (b c 1815) who married Mary Ann Parkinson at Lisburn in 1846.
The IGI on Familysearch also has baptisms to William of Half Town, Lisburn on 23 August 1819 of James and William.
William could be the son of a Moses Cherry who lived at Lower Maze, near Lisburn, in 1789.[1]
