DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Elisha by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Elisha:
Added comment on the merge proposal. It is beginning to look to me like these may be different people - Mother Hannah Page, or Hannah Carpenter?
According to the birth dates given, Hannah Page would have had to marry at age 15, latest, to be his mother. This was definitely not customary in this time/place/culture. Perhaps Hannah Page married a different Chesebrough, and also had a son named Elisha.
Chesebrough-178 and Chesebrough-174 appear to represent the same person because: This one will require a bit of research. The biggest things are his mother's maiden name, and his wife/wives. Are both wives correct? Only one mother can be.
If more time is needed to research, it can be temporarily placed in Unmerged Match status. But please try to get this done as soon as possible. There are already merges going on in descendants, and parents get disconnected when things can't be resolved to get them merged. All the children and other descendants will be reconnected by the merge, of course.

As I said, more research (and sources!) needed.
