Susan was born in May 1847 (questionable), in Illinois. She married Charles Chevalier. [1]
Susan A. Kimes married Charles Chevalier on 10 October 1867 in Meigs, Ohio. M. Reed, Justice of the Peace officiated. [2]
In 1880, they lived in Olive Township, Ohio with Charles’ parents. The household included Peter Chevalier, 84, born PA, a farmer; his wife Elizabeth, 72, b. VA; their son Charles Chevalier, 42, b. OH, works on farm; his wife Susan, 31, b. IL; three Chevalier children, listed as nephew and nieces of Peter Chevalier, but they were his grandchildren; the children of Charles and Susan, via research: Charles C., 11, b. OH, in school; Etta E., 8, b. OH, in school, and Elsie J., 1. [3]
Susan’s death record shows that she was born on 10 August 1845 in Ohio. But, she was born in illinois. She died on 11 October 1929, aged 84, in Meigs, Ohio. She is buried with her husband Charles in Reedsville Cemetery, Meigs, Ohio. [4]
