Willy (Wiltz) H. Chevalier was born in 1897 in Pennsylvania.
In 1900, the Chevalier family lived on their rented farm in Tyrone Township, Blair County, Pennsylvania. All members of the household were born in Pennsylvania, as were their parents. The household included Peter E. Chevalier, 46, born in September 1855, a farmer; his wife Laura, born in July 1860; and their children, Wilbert L., 16; Herschel, 13; Harry B., 11; Cora N., 11; Monroe B., 6; Willy H., 4; Ruth C., 5; and Dewey L., 2.[1]
Wiltz moved to Canada, where he married Margaret L. Lariviere in 1918 in Quebec. Wiltz was a horseshoer during WWI. They moved back to Pennsylvania at some point, and they both died in Altoona. They are both buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Altoona, Blair, Pennsylvania. [2]
