Biography
Wilbert L. Chevalier was born in June 1884 in Pennsylvania.
In 1900, the Chevalier family lived on their rented farm in Tyrone Township, Blair County, Pennsylvania. All members of the household were born in Pennsylvania, as were their parents. The household included Peter E. Chevalier, 46, born in September 1855, a farmer; his wife Laura, born in July 1860; and their children, Wilbert L., 16; Herschel, 13; Harry B., 11; Cora N., 11; Monroe B., 6; Willy H., 4; Ruth C., 5; and Dewey L., 2.[1]
Wilbert married Mary G. (Nee: Unknown, 1882-1967). They had at least one child, Pauline, born 25 November 1910, who lived less than one month. They are buried in Calvary Cemetery, Altoona, Blair, Pennsylvania. [2]
