Blanche Beatrice Chick was born on 5 August 1877 in Congewai, New South Wales, Australia [1] , the daughter of Augustus Peter Chick and Susannah Crossley and the sister of William Walter (Crossley) Chick, Alfred John Thomas Chick, Unnamed Infant 'Twin One' Chick, Unnamed Infant 'Twin Two' Chick, George Albert Chick, Unnamed Infant Chick, Ivy May (Chick) Simmons, Hazell Ruby (Chick) Vernon [half], Amy Isabella (Chick) Crosdale [half], Hassan Aubrey Chick [half], Cyril Augustus Chick [half], Walter William Chick [half], Ernest Henry Chick [half], Stanley Clifford Chick [half], Frederick John Chick [half] and Ellen Rubeana (Chick) Dixon [half].
Sadly, Blanche was only 2 years and 11 months old when she died as a result of injuries she had received when her clothing caught fire, on 2 July 1880 at Ellalong, New South Wales, Australia [2].
A Coroner's Inquest was held on 3 July 1880 and the Verdict was returned on 10 July 1880 at Wollombi, New South Wales, Australia [3].
