Ivy May Chick was born on 21 September 1886 in Ellalong, New South Wales, Australia [1], the daughter of Augustus Peter Chick and Susannah Crossley and the sister of William Walter (Crossley) Chick, Alfred John Thomas Chick, Blanche Beatrice Chick, Unnamed Infant 'Twin One' Chick, Unnamed Infant 'Twin Two' Chick, George Albert Chick, Unnamed Infant Chick, Hazell Ruby (Chick) Vernon [half], Amy Isabella (Chick) Crosdale [half], Hassan Aubrey Chick [half], Cyril Augustus Chick [half], Walter William Chick [half], Ernest Henry Chick [half], Stanley Clifford Chick [half], Frederick John Chick [half] and Ellen Rubeana (Chick) Dixon [half].
She married Robert Cecil Simmons on 8 January 1914 in East Maitland, New South Wales, Australia [2] and they had at least two children, Florence Iris Simmons and Dulcie May (Simmons) Bannister.
