Elizabeth was born on 4 May 1849 in Clarence River District, New South Wales. She was baptised in 1849 at Church of England in Clarence River District, New South Wales. She was the daughter of Thomas Chilcott and Jeanetta Hunter.
She married Bernard Gray in 1867 at Emigrant Creek, Ballina. He was the son of Peter Gray and Mary Anne Inglesby. They had 11 children:
Edwin Bernard GRAY was born 1872, and died 1911.
Agnes E GRAY was born 1868.
Jessie Olive GRAY was born 1875, and died 14 Feb 1883, age 7, Ballina, New South Wales.
Frances GRAY was born 1871.
Clara Elizabeth GRAY was born 1877.
Mary Ann GRAY was born 1879.
Louisa Jenett GRAY was born 1881 in Lismore.
Patrick T. GRAY was born 1883. He married Elizabeth O'NEILL.
Eileen T. GRAY was born 1886 in Ballina, and died 14 Jul 1904 at Ballina, New South Wales.
Charles GRAY was born 1891, and died 27 May 1891 at Ballina, New South Wales.
She passed away in 1892.
