Duncan Craig Chisholm was born October 15, 1898 to William Chisholm and Gertrude Stevens Foster in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.[1]
He enlisted in the Armed Forces May 22, 1917. He was a Gunner in the 3rd Brigade, Canadian Garrison Artillery. Registration #; 2341427
He was Killed in Action in Vis-en-Artois, Pas-de-Calais, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France He is buired in Grave 13, Plot 2, Row C at the Vis-en-Artois British Cemetary, Haucourt.

"In company with several comrades, he was sitting at the mouth of a tunnel, when he was hit in the head by a flying shell splinter, causing his death almost immediately."
