Biography

"Hannah Chittenden, dau. of William, m. Dec. 31, 1728, Josiah Bishop, of Guilford, son of Ebenezer Bishop, of Guilford, and Ann Letmore (Latimer), of Wethersfield, born Nov. 1, 1703. Mr. Bishop died, aged 41, Apr. 12, 1745, and his widow m. 2d, Samuel Fitch, of Guilford. She died, aged 70, July 1, 1773."

The rejection of the merge of Hannah (Chittenden) Bishop and Hannah (Chittendon) Bishop should be reconsidered. DJB spells the likely ancestors as Chittenden, which should be accepted.
