  2. Clyde C. Chittenden was born in 1860 in Yorkshire, Cattaraugus, New York, United States. He married Grace Guild (1865-1952). Clyde died on 12 April 1953 in Lake City, King, Washington, United States.
  3. Ida Lunette Chittenden was born on 16 June 1864 in Yorkshire, Cattaraugus, New York, United States. She married Newton I. Moore (1861-1936) on 14 December 1927 in Saint Johns, Clinton, Michigan. Ida died on 8 March 1954 in Lansing, Michigan, United States.

Death

William died on 2 June 1823 in Lansing, Ingham, Michigan, United States at the age of 87. The cause of his death was pneumonia. His daughter Ida was the informant on his death certificate. He was buried in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Lansing, Ingham, Michigan. Find A Grave: Memorial #22191787

Marriage License in Ingham County, Michigan in 12 December. Marriage was on 14 December 1927 at St. Johns, Clinton County, Michigan and performed by S.W. Large, Methodist Minister.
  • New York, Civil War Muster Roll Abstract for William F. Chittenden (26) enlisted on 5 August 1862 at Freedom, New York. Discharged on 15 May 1863. This records twice in hospital. 19 November 1862 in hospital in Washington, D.C. and discharged from there on 12 April 1863. Sent to 2nd hospital on 24 April 1863. It does not give the form of his disability. In and out as a Private.
