Biography
Chris was born in Norway, He spoke of being in the underground during WWII and fleeing to America when he could. He married my grandmother and ran a magnetic sign business for a while. My last memory of him was in North Carolina I believe. He was an alcoholic and had gotten several DWIs so he was without a drivers license. He got caught driving again without a license and drunk. He ran from the state rather than face jail. That was some time in the 1970s.
