FOUND WATCHMAN DEAD AT PLANT Moore P. Christensen Had Stroke, Police Believe
Moore P. Christensen, 407 Cambridge, was found dead early today in a washroom on the third floor of the J. R. Watkins and Co. plant, 62 W. Iowa, where he was employed as a night watchman. He was 53.
Although there was a gash across Mr. Christensen's head, police said he apparently died of a heart attack and that he cut his head in falling.
Mr Christensen had been dead about three hours when found shortly after 12:45 a.m. according to sources at McDowell Funeral Home.
He had complained of feeling ill and D. L. Turner, 257 S. Somerville, was sent to the plant at 12:45 a.m. to relieve him. Mr Turner, unable to enter the building, called Fire Capt John D. Walsh of No. 19 engine house, who entered the Watkins plant by ladder and a fire escape.
Capt Walsh found Mr. Christensen's hat in an elevator and his flashlight on the floor. Lieut. Raney and Detective Sergts Getz and McGee called in to investigate, found Mr. Christensen's body in the washroom.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Loretta Crosby Christensen; his mother, Mrs Hester Pond Christensen; five children, Louise, Jack, Margaret, Beverly, and Robert, all of Memphis, and a sister, Mrs. Bertie Parsons of El Paso, Texas.
