William John Jack Christie was born 3 February 1843, in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada, his parents were William Christie and Margaret Jane Swail. He married Sarah Anne Boyd on April 7, 1870, in Lakefield, Quebec, Canada. They had at least eight children. William Jon Jack Christie died 7 June 1913, in Quebec, (Urban Agglomeration), Quebec, Canada. Their family lived in Chatham Township, Argenteuil, Quebec.[1]
