- Leroy b. 1925 & Katherine (Owens) McIntosh b. 1932 (father: Cleo Owens)
- Child born 1933 (says Wikipedia, but not found on 1940 Census)
- Norma Lee (Hill) Rydlewski b. 1935 & 1 other (father: Jim Hill)
- 1940: Florence (age 36), James Robert Hills and their family lived in Judicial Township 3, Kern, California[1]
- Moved to Modesto, CA in 1945
- Florence was the subject of Dorothea Lange's iconic Depression-era photograph "Migrant Mother."
- Buried at Lakewood Memorial Park @ Hughson, CA. Her tombstone reads: FLORENCE LEONA THOMPSON Migrant Mother – A Legend of the Strength of American Motherhood.
