Biography
James Christy came to the Turkey Creek area of Greenbrier County Virginia(now Monroe County WV ) in the late 1780s as a minister of the Rehoboth Church. He brought seven families with him so that they could band together against the Indians. The James Allen Family was one of these families. James Christy was also an Indian scout, he gives information in his revolutionary war pension. Bob Tilley
