Hi Vickie This is my future daughter in laws family I start to do it last year. Robert Owen Allen's parents were Robert Allen and Mary Christmas he was baptised 29th August 1830 Robert Allen and Mary christmas were married 9/5/1829 witnesses were John Allen and John Christmas They were from Barrington Cambridgeshre England. Robert Allen died Victoria 1877 his parents are according to his death certificate John Allen and Mary Newyln but the only baptism I can find at Barrington is for a Robert Allen to John Allen and Elizabeth Newling 21/6/1807 The 1851 Census has Robert Allen aged 43 Journeyman Carpenter wife Mary aged 44 and Robert Owen Allen aged 21 Journeyman carpenter they were at Wimpole Found a family of Allen's Robert Mary and Robt on the Sagittarus in August 1853 but ages are out.
