Deborah is the great-great grand daughter of Mayflower Passenger Richard Warren. From Pane-Joyce Genealogical Project: 40402. Deborah Church. Born in Jan 1697 in Little Compton, RI. Deborah died aft 16 Aug 1759.[1] William and Deborah lived in the east part of Little Compton near the Dartmouth line. [2] On 13 or 25 Sep 1713 Deborah married William Briggs (17887) , son of William Briggs (6527) (1650-12 May 1716) & Elizabeth Cook (6721) (1653-Aug 1716), in Little Compton, RI. They were married by Benjamin Church, Justice. Born on 11 Jan 1688 in Little Compton, RI. William died in Nov 1763 in Little Compton, RI. Occupation: yeoman.

Will of William Briggs of Little Compton, yeoman, dated 16 Aug 1759, proved 6 Apr 1763, mentions wife Deborah Briggs, sons Enoch Briggs, Nathaniel Briggs, and Job Briggs; daughters Elizabeth Pabody, Mary Record, Sarah Crandal, Susannah Crandal, Judith Woodworth, and Priscilla Briggs; three granddaughters Betty Briggs, Phebe Briggs, and Deborah Briggs all under 18 daughters of son Job Briggs; unnamed grandchildren children of daughter Elizabeth Pabody. Witnesses Richard Brownell, James Taylor, and William Hall. [3]
