____ Chute, son of Leland Y Chute & Blanche Chute, was born on 3 October 1911 in Patten, Penobscot, Maine, United States.^[1]

In the 1920 census Laurel (age 8) was the son of Leeland G Chute in Hillsborough, New Hampshire, United States.^[2]

In the 1930 census Laurel (age 18) was the single son of Leland G Chute in Manchester, Hillsborough, New Hampshire, United States.^[3]

Laurel married in 1936 in Tyngsborough, Massachusetts, United States.^[4] This was probably he marriage to Nita Tucker.

Laurel registered for the WWII draft on 16 October 1940 in Salem Depot, Rockingham, New Hampshire, United States.^[5] His wife is Nita Tucker Chute. Nita died in 1989.^[6]

In the 1950 census Laurel (age 38), Owner Salesman, was the married head of household in Salem Depot, Rockingham, New Hampshire, United States.^[7]

Laurel died on 10 March 1996.^[8]
