Nicolo' Ciravolo is born and baptized 29 October 1792 in Corleone. He is the son of Andrea Ciravolo and Giacinta Carrabba, called Giacinta Martorana in this record. His godparents are Bernardo and Lucia Guarneri, a married couple.[1]
Nicolo' marries twice, first to Giovanna Leggio, widow of Biagio Grizzaffi, on 11 November 1815.[2]
Giovanna dies at age 63 (b. 1771) on 18 April 1834.[3]
Nicolo' remarries less than two months after his first wife's death, to Maria Marino, on 1 June 1834. His parents have both died by this time.[4]
Nicolo' and Maria have at least one child, Andrea (1849), named after his paternal grandfather.
Nicolo's age is recorded as 46 on Andrea's January 1849 birth record, which would make his birth year around 1802.[5] There is no one by his name born that year, or closer than 1792. Cascio-10 12:38, 5 August 2017 (EDT)
In 1838, Nicolo' and Maria stand as godparents to Mariano Cascio. Mariano's older sister, Rosa, marries Biagio Jannazzo, a member of Rapanzino's gang, in 1843.
Nicolo' dies at age 72 (b. 1790) on 2 July 1862. He is survived by his second wife.[6]
Andrea marries Mattea Sabella on 29 September 1880.[7]
Maria dies at age 81 (b. 1817) on 7 November 1898.[8]
