Claiborne-664 and Claiborne-126 appear to represent the same person because: Because they were both born the same year
Claiborne-664 and Claiborne-126 do not represent the same person because: simply being born in the same year does not mean they are the same person. No other evidence shows they should be merged.
Shirley, they were both born in King's Lynn, Norfolk, England. Both were married to Sarah Smith. Both have the son William Claiborne b. in Crayford, Kent, England, who was an early settler in the colonies/provinces of Virginia, who became "Secretary of State for the Virginia Colony", who married Elizabeth Butler/Boteler. The only difference is the dates, which I got from different sources.
I don't see that information or documentation on this profile. Claibourne-16 is a match for Claiborne-664, having the same spouse, son William, etc. Neither of those two have a daughter Rebecca. And this Thomas Claiborne does not show a son William. I see no evidence this Thomas should be merged with the other two.
I wonder if there is a connection between this Thomas and the Thomas Clayborn who married Johanna Tilney 9 July 1592 in Costessey : St Edmund : Norfolk. Johanna was baptized 17 Oct 1568 also in Costessey? [source: https://www.freereg.org.uk/]
