William Clark was born on 30 July 1848 in Wollombi, New South Wales, Australia, the son of John and Rebecca (McMullen) Clark[1]. William was the brother of Kezia (Clark) Lumby, James Clark, John Clark, Henry Clark, Sarah (Clark) Hall, Susannah Clark, Rebecca (Clark) Shields, Ann Maria Clark, Edward Peter Clark and Mary Ann (Clark) Hall.
He married Alice Parry on 6 April 1875 in Wollombi, New South Wales, Australia[2], and was the father of Linda Mary Clark, Emily A Clark, Maud Rebecca (Clark) Andrews, Edward William Clark, Florence M Clark, Archibald J Clark, Laban M Clark and Stanley P Clark.
William died in Wollombi, New South Wales, Australia[3]. Wollombi, where the Clark family lived, is a small village in the Hunter Region of New South Wales, Australia. It is within the Cessnock City Council District, situated 29 kilometres (18 mi) southwest of Cessnock and 128 km (80 miles) north of Sydney. [1]
