Not sure where the spelling of Clarke (with an “e”) comes from. All of the biographical info and most other sources I’ve seen is without the “e”. I would recommend the document “JAMES CLARK of ORANGE and CULPEPER COUNTIES of Virginia and SOME OF HIS DESCENDANTS” sourced in Ancestry as “James Clark, Mansfield, Christopher Clark and allied families”

Clark-13360 and Clarke-7471 appear to represent the same person because: appear to be duplicate and it appears he may have a few duplicate wives

I'm approving the merger of Clark-18540 and Clark-13360. I believe the birthdate of 1716 that I had is correct because of an International Marriage Record and a SAR application.

Clark-18540 and Clark-13360 appear to represent the same person because: Wives got merged, which leaves us with too many husbands.
