Obituary:
Dellah Elizabeth Derr of Flint, formerly of Mayville, died Wednesday, December 4, 1985 in Flint. She was 98. Mrs. Derr was born Jan. 25, 1887 in Mayville, the daughter of Herbert and Eliza (McCartney) Clark.

She married Floyd Banbury in June 1903, but he died in 1908. She married Lewis Derr in 1909 and he also predeceased her. She had been a wallpaper hanger in the Mayville and Flint areas. She was a charter member of the Larkin Club of Flint.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Mrs. Josephine Scstok of Auburn Hills and Nellie (Mrs Martin) Nickert of Vassar; 2 sons, Wilson Derr. of Flint and Walter Derr of Leesburg, Florida; 3 brothers, Edison Clark of Flint, Earl Sarlcs of Mayville and Harold Sarlcs of Tracy, California; 13 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by six children, Clyde, Vera and Esther Derr, James and Clark Banbury, and Viola Schradcr; and three sisters, Winifred Bean, Amy Wiliils and Eva Schradcr. Funeral services were held Sat., Dec. 7, at the Tiffin & Ransford Funeral Home, Mayville. The Rev. John Manning officiated and burial was in Rich Township Cemetery, Lapeer County.

Memorials may be made tothe Mayville Golden Years Club. ^[2]
