While the exact date of John's birth to John Clark Sr. and Deborah (Parke) Clark in Preston, is not exactly known, based on his age of 72 at the time of his death, the date of his will and when it was probated, it is believed that he was born either the very last week of Dec 1759 or sometime prior to the June 1760 probate date.[1]
Baptism
John was baptized on 08 May 1710 by Reverend Treat at the First Congregational Church of Preston.[2]
"In the name of God amen this 25th day of December 1759"
It goes on to say that he is sick in body but of sound mind, so he knew on Christmas day, he was probably going to die soon. The exact date of his death is not known, but his Will was approved and recorded 01 Apr 1760, so it is likely that he died within that time frame. The location of his burial has not yet been located. His wife and all nine of his children are named in his Will. The first four pages of his Will are attached to this profile in .pdf format.[16][17]
His inventory was completed on 21 February 1760 in Preston.[17]
