Stephen was born in 1882. He was the grandson of Edward Clark, founder of the Singer Sewing Machine Company. Stephen was a noted art collector, newspaper publisher, benefactor and founder of the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York.[1]

September 1877, who was in the Philippines; F. Ambrose, 19 b. August 1880, at college; and Stephen C., 17 b. August 1882, at college. Elizabeth has had 4 children, all of whom are living. Elizabeth's parents were both born in England.[2]

New York, and daughter Elizabeth Scriven Clark, 0-[4/12] b. New York. Stephen and Susan have been married for 1 year, and Susan has had 1 child. Brother Robert Sterling Clark, 32 b. New York, was living with the family. Stephen and Susan's parents were born in New York except for Stephen's mother, who was born in England.[3]
