REMSEN-Mrs. lona J. Worden, 78, of Fairchild Road, widow of Ernest Worden, died yesterday in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital Center after a brief illness. She was born in Wheelertown, the daughter of William and Carrie Grower Clark. She married Mr. Worden in 1915. Mr. Worden died in 1966. Mrs. Worden was a member of the Remsen United Methodist Church. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Otto (Ernestine) Koenig of Forestport, Mrs. Elton (Eleanor) Roberts of Remsen; nine sons. Ellsworth, Roy, Carl, George, Ward, and Francis Worden, all of Remsen; Warren Worden of Sacramento, Calif., Hugh Worden of Beaver Falls, and Eugene Worden of Boonville; a brother, Chester Clark of Remsen and two sisters, Mrs. Irving Kelsey of Trenton Falls and Mrs. Leonadis Lefevre of Hinckley. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday from the Ackley Funeral Home, Remsen. Burial will be in Fairchild Cemetery . Calling hours are 7 to 9 tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 tomorrow.
