EAST MONMOUTH -- Flora Belle Clark Bonney, 99, oldest citizen of Monmouth and holder of the Boston Post gold headed cane, died at the Nahoiser Nursing Home, Sunday, after a short illness.
She was born Oct. 21. 1873, in Greene, the daughter of John and Isabelle Stockford Clark. She was educated in Greene and Monmouth schools. In 1887, she was married to Fredrick Bonney at Monmouth. He died in 1932. Mrs. Bonney was a trinitarin and the Oldest member of the east Monmouth Methodist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Madeline Willman, Monmouth: a son, Sherman Bonney of Winslow: none grandchildren: and 11 Great-grandchildren.

In Winthrop Oct. 29, Flora Belle Clark Bonney, age 99. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Broadon-Flanders Funeral Home, Monmouth, where friends may call Tuesday 7 to 9 p.m. Interment Ridge cemetery.[2]
