Hodges - Funeral services for Mrs. Pency Cola Hodges, will be Tuesday at 2 pm from the Manntown Congregational Holiness Church, South of Glen St. Mary, with George A. McDuffie, minister of Jehova's Witnesses, officiating. Interment will be Manntown Cemetery. Mrs. Hodges, a native of Glen St. Mary, resided in Baker County until she moved to Jacksonville eight years ago. She was a Johovah's Witness and the widow of A. J. Hodges Sr. She died Sunday at the residence of her son, Edward W. Hodges, in Macclenny, following an illness of several months.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Gladys Pierce, Glen St. Mary, Mrs. Louise Belle (Lou) Davis, of Orange Park, Mrs. Lucille Parrish, of Columbia, SC., and Jewel Combs of Macclenny; a son, A.J. Hodges Jr of Lake City; 23 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.[2]
