Biography
Captain of a cavalry unit during the Revolution, perhaps from Pawlet, Wells, Middletown or Danby.
"m. Elizabeth, da. of Zebadiah Andrus... None of his family remain in town. He died in 1820, aged 43."[1]
Joseph Clark died at Pawlet, Vermont, November 17, 1820. His spouse is shown as Elizabeth Swan Clark.[2]
Research Notes
A Joseph Clark married Elizabeth Clark December 9, 1793 at Middletown, Connecticut, [3] but the record may not be for this Joseph, who would only have been 16 years old, if his birth year is correct.
