Dorcas married Aaron Sackett (born on December 26, 1760 in Kent, Litchfield, Connecticut; son of Reuben Sackett and Mercy (Finney) Sackett). Their children were:
- Phebe Sackett (1786–1863)
- Thomas Sackett (1787–1871)
- Sarah Sackett (1789–1837)
- John W Sackett (1793–1837)
- Samuel S Sackett (1797–1880)
Dorcas died on April 10, 1857 in Sangamon, Illinois, USA, aged 86.[1] She was buried in Old Sackett Cemetery, Gardiner Township, Samgamon, Illinois, USA.
