Cecil L. Clark was born in Sarepta, July 20, 1897 the son of the Samuel McNeece Clark (1860-1943) and Harriett Adeline (Berry) Clark (1866-1949). [1] He married Ruth Tyler. [2] Cecil lived in Osceola, AR, he died in Memphis Baptist Hospital, TN, after suffering a stroke on March 12 1970. He was a retired Farmer and a Baptist.
He and his wife Ruth Tyler Clark are buried in Old Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, in Pontotoc County, MS.

C. L. Clark Dies, Memphis
Cecil Clark, 72, of Rt. 2 Osceola, Ark., died in Memphis Baptist Hospital at 8:30 p.m., April 6, 1970 after suffering a stroke March 12.
Mr. Clark was born at Sarepta, July 20, 1897, son of the late Sam Clark and Harette Berry Clark. He was a retired farmer and a Baptist.
Funeral services were held at 2 Wednesday at the Antioch Baptist Church (Lafayette County) near Sarepta with the Tev. James Henry officiating and Rev. Jimmy Grubb assisting. Song services were by his granddaughters.
Burial was int he church cemetery with Brown Funeral Services in charge. Pallbearers were Mr. and Mrs. Clark's nephews and the Rev. Lajoyce Busby.
Mr. Clark leaves his wife, Mrs. Ruth Tyler Clark, Rt. 2, Osceola, to whom he was married Dec 26, 1920; three children, Mrs. C. J. (Margie) Davis, Memphis, Knox E. Clark, Rt. 1 Osceola; and Mrs. Charles (Mary Ruth) Powell, Memphis.
Four brothers, Sim Clark , Calhoun City, Cliff Clark of Bruce, and Henry Clark, Sarepta; three sisters, Mrs. A. M. Smith, Askew, Mrs. Lillie Hellums, Bruce, and Mrs. J. C. Grist, Randolph; and nine granddaughters.
