Biography

Samuel McNeece Clark was born in Sarepta located in Calhoun County Mississippi on Feb 1, 1860 to parents Thomas Goode Clark (1815-1863) andMargery Brown (Rogers) Clark (1822-1918). [1] He grew up helping his mother run the Clark Griss Mill, along with his other siblings, after his father was killed in the Civil War. [2] He married Harriett A. Berry in Calhoun County, MS and they both are buried in Sarepta Cemetery, located in Calhoun County, MS.
