Thomas Clark
Born second son of George E. Clark, high school principal, superintendent, and teacher. His mother died when he was about 10, and when his father remarried, the stepmother kicked the two boys out. Ernest rode the rails to California, worked in farm fields until early 20's. He received appointment to Alameda, CA, police academy, moving through the ranks to detective when he retired. He married a widow with two daughters, but they never had any children between them. After Ann died, he continued living in Alameda, CA until his death around 1987.
