Possibly born in 1810 according to 1860 census. Buried in Blossom Cemetery.
Farm Laborer
Listed in 1865 as being born in Columbia. In 1855 listed as being born in Rensaler [Renssalaer]. These are bordering counties in eastern New York on the Vermont/Massachusetts borders and the Hudson the west.
These are just notes on my search trying to find his parents: Looking in Columbia I found a record of a Daniel and a George Clark on the 1797 tax list. Possible fathers? [1] George was married to an Abigail, they had a daughter Betsy who was born in 1792. [2] George and Abigail's grave (same stone) found in Hudson City Cemetary, Hudson, Columbia, NY. She died May 9, 1822 and he died 11/23/1833. He was 84 years old and 17 d. So born Nov. 6, 1749? [3] No supporting evidence of a link found to date...
