Mary Knox Clark was born about 1810 in Knox County, Tennessee, the daughter of Braxton Clark and Elizabeth Fugate.[1] On 1 Jun 1826, she married Nehemiah Alcorn, and together they had six children.
Polly died sometime before 1854. Her place of burial is unknown.
Research Notes
↑ Mary is said in the 1850 census to be 35 years old; that would have been impossible, given her 1826 marriage.
↑ Daughter Jane is designated "idiotic" in the 1850 census.
