John Flavel Clark was born in 1784 in Allentown, New Jersey. He was the son of Reverend Joseph Clark of New Brunswick and Princeton, NJ, and Margaret Imblay (Imlay). [1] He is mentioned in his father's will made in 1802, Middlesex County, NJ, along with his mother, sister and two brothers. Middle name spelled Flavell in the will. [2]
He died in 1853 in Fishkill Village, New York.
