1838 -- Aug. 22, Edward and wife Mary sell 36 acres in 7-2-16 and 70 acres in 18-2-16 for $441 to Hiram Murnahan. DB 8, p. 464. [2]
1845 -- Sept. 20, Lawrence Co., Ohio deeds from Edward and Mary; one piece in 18-2-16 to John for a bond of $800 and one piece to Hiram Murnahan for $400, then Hiram deeds his piece of the mill, to John for $100. Property description is the mill property. DB 10, pp. 79-81. [3]
1848 -- Mar. 29, Lawrence Co., Ohio deed lists heirs of Edward, listed as widow of Mary, Hiram Murnahan and wife Elizabeth, James McMahan and wife Elizabeth, and Jane Pinkerman to John Murnahan, releasing the mill bond, DB 11, p. 156. [4]
1855 -- Hiram is listed in the deed (DB 16, p. 174) filed March 13, 1855 where his mother, Mary Murnahan, "widow of Edward Murnahan decd", was giving up her dower rights. Hiram is not listed in any future deed transactions. The prior deed was dated June 30, 1854, but was not filed until March of 1855. [5]
