Biography

Christopher Hamilton Clark was born in August of 1806 in Pittsylvania, Virginia to Peter Hamilton Clark and Elizabeth Campbell Clark. On April 2, 1828 he married Margaret Boil Bell in Greene, Illinois.^[1] Husband of Margaret Boil Bell Clark

They are first listed together on the 1830 Census in the same area of Illinois.^[2] On both: the 1850 Census^[3] and the 1860 Census^[4]; the couple are listed in Lawrence, Missouri. In about 1865 the couple moved to Kansas and they are listed there in 1870^[5] and 1880.^[6]

He passed away in March of 1887 at the age of 80 in Bourbon County, Kansas.^[7]
